Our Story
HARGO, appliance parts and service company is dedicated to quality parts, service & sales.
The motivation to start an appliance part, service & sales company came when The CEO of HARGO was in a meeting with his former employer. At this meeting, the topic was how to improve customer efficiency, satisfaction and quality of service. During the meeting, the President of the company asked the employees of the company for ideas of how to improve customer service. True motivation came at the end of the meeting to create HARGO when a great solution to customer service was suggested as requested. At which point, a statement from The President was made. "That is not going to work here BUT, if you think you can do it better, start your own company and do it yourself." My 2 weeks’ notice was soon on my supervisor’s desk.
HARGO was founded in July 2015, based out of the home of 1 man and grew from there. In 2017, we opened the 80 Harry L Drive store. We had over 2,000 parts in our 1.200 Sq Ft area and held the CEO, COO, 1 more technician and a part time CSR. By fall of 2018, we needed to take an additional 800 Sq Ft second floor because we doubled in staff and increased parts by double to supply the need of the community. For many years we tightly stayed at our 80 Harry L Drive location as we continued to grow. In 2023, HARGO made the leap to 42 Corbettsville Rd in Conklin to a 10,000 sq ft building to handle growth and offer more to the community. Now in 2024, we can offer used appliances, new appliances, recycled parts on eBay, in store repairs, more space for continued training and continue with over 17,000 parts and service.
